Out of 95 sales associate teams in North Carolina, nine sales teams with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage ranked in the Top 10 teams in North Carolina for the Coldwell Banker® franchise system for the second quarter of 2012.

Team Gale ranked No. 4 in Adjusted Gross Commission Income, No. 2 in Selling Units, No. 2 in Listing Units, and No. 2 in Total Units. Agent’s Music Video Garners National Attention

Jessica Riffle Edwards, a sales associate with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, recently released a unique video that’s garnering national attention.

This summer Justin Bieber, the Harvard baseball team, the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders, and many others have produced lip-synced videos to Carly Rae Jepsen's pop hit “Call Me Maybe”. Last week, Jessica Riffle Edwards and some Wilmington, N.C. friends produced their own version and it has become an Internet sensation in a matter of days.

The video features Edwards and brightly-dressed friends dancing to the upbeat song while displaying Edwards’ real life phone number. So far, the fun and fresh video has attracted the attention of local and national media outlets including WECT, AOL, Inman News, Estately, Curbed.com, and REP Interactive.

Jessica Riffle Edwards started her video blog in 2009 and since then she’s been featured by numerous real estate publications, the TODAY show blog, and served as a national spokesperson for Coldwell Banker. Her videos typically focus on the Wilmington area and real estate topics. She says that her wildy popular “Call Me Maybe” video is the first “just for fun” video that she’s done. Judging from the nearly 20,000 YouTube views since she posted the video, it won’t be the last!

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage Names Justin Ash to Lead Topsail Office

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty is pleased to announce that Justin Ash has been named Managing Broker of its Topsail Island office in Surf City, N.C. office and Sales Manager of its Sneads Ferry, N.C. and Hampstead, N.C. offices.

Ash has been a successful real estate sales associate with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage since 2005. He has been a top producer for many years and won many accolades and awards during his time at Sea Coast Advantage. He was named New Homes Sales Agent of the Year in 2007 and 2008 and was runner-up for New Homes Sales Agent of the Year in 2009 and 2010.

Prior to assuming the role of Managing Broker, Justin Ash was instrumental in the start-up of several new home communities, including Courtney Pines, Mill Creek, and The Willows. Most recently, Ash has been in charge of the sales and marketing of the Bellingham Park and Topsail Landing condominium communities. In addition, he has also worked as a property manager for BlueRidge Companies and Bellingham Park.

Sea Coast Advantage Adopts a Highway

Sales associates and staff from Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage recently joined the Adopt-a-Highway program and participated in their first roadside cleanup on Saturday, July 21, 2012.  The group plans to make this event the first of many efforts to beautify their community.

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage Set to Break Ground on New Jacksonville Headquarters

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage and H&H Homes are making a strong investment in the future of Jacksonville and Onslow County. The two companies have joined forces to develop a new office building on Western Boulevard in Jacksonville.

Officials of both companies will gather with local dignitaries and business leaders on July 17 at 10 a.m. for a groundbreaking celebration, according to Tim Milam, president of Sea Coast Advantage.

The two-story, 12,000 square foot facility will serve as Jacksonville/Onslow County headquarters for both companies, Milam said. The building is expected to be ready for occupancy by October 2012. Other tenants include Alpha Mortgage, Baker & Colby, Sea Coast Properties and Brewed Awakenings. The building – located at 2355 Memorial Boulevard – brings together Jacksonville’s number one real estate brokerage firm and one of the area’s top home builders.

Through June of this year, Sea Coast Advantaged has generated a market-leading total of more than $55 million in sales, according to Broker-in-Charge Carmen Wilkinson.

Sea Coast Advantage led the Jacksonville/Onslow market last year with more than $125.9 million in residential sales, representing a market share of 10.8 percent, she reported.

The new offices will provide office space for more than 50 Sea Coast Advantage agents and support personnel – double its current complement in Jacksonville/Onslow County, Milam commented.

“This new office building symbolizes our commitment to expand in Jacksonville and Onslow County, which is one of the strongest and fastest-growing markets in the entire state,” Milam said.

“Jacksonville and Onslow County are critically important in our company’s long-range expansion plans, and we are determined to build on our position as the top-ranked real estate brokerage firm in the area.”

H&H Homes has also targeted the Jacksonville/Onslow market as a crucial element of its growth strategy, according to company executive Rodney Baker.

H&H currently has eight neighborhoods under development in Jacksonville/Onslow County, including five exclusively represented by Sea Coast Advantage Realty – Southpointe at Carolina Forest, Vista Cay Village, Peggy’s Cove at Southbridge, Mimosa Bay and Saltwater Landing. It is also building in Sterling Farms, Towne Pointe and Pinnacle Ridge.

Headquartered in Fayetteville, H&H is one of the leading home builders in the Jacksonville/Onslow market, with 50 sales so far in 2012. In 2011, it ranked as the country’s 60th largest home builder, with 405 closings for $102 million in sales volume.

Headquartered in Wilmington, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage has emerged as the fastest-growing real estate brokerage firm in North Carolina. Last November, it merged with Coldwell Banker Advantage Realty of Raleigh and Fayetteville to create the state’s third largest brokerage, with over 600 agents, 26 sales offices and more than $1.3 billion in transactions in 2011, Milam reported.

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage Names Five to Vice President Post

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage is pleased to announce that Ted Hardeen, Carolyn Thomason, Tom Spencer, Brian Moxey, and David Benford have been named to the company’s newly-created Vice President positions.

“My goal always has been and always will be, to have the very best management and staff to support all of our sales associates and I can assure you that this is another step in our company’s history to continue that strong support we offer at Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage,” said president Tim Milam when he announced the promotions.

Ted Hardeen was promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing and New Home Communities. He has been with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage since 1993. As Senior Vice President of Marketing, he will direct the company’s marketing strategies and lead the company’s new home sales division.

Carolyn Thomason was promoted to Vice President of Public Relations. She has been with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage since 1987. Thomason will be responsible for managing the company’s public image, directing special projects within the company, and leading the company’s engagement with community and charitable organizations. She will also continue managing the company’s title company, Beacon Title, concierge program, and new agent orientation.

Tom Spencer was also promoted to Vice President. He also serves as the company’s General Manager. Spencer has been with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage since 2001. He is responsible for developing long range and annual administration planning, directing human resources, fiscal planning, and overseeing various other operations of the company.

Brian Moxey was promoted to Vice President of Business Development. He has been with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage since 2009. In addition to his duties as Vice President, he also serves as Broker-In-Charge of the company’s Hampstead, NC office. His responsibilities include developing the company’s strategy for recruiting and retaining the best real estate agents and staff in Southeastern North Carolina.

David Benford joined Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage as its Vice President of Operations in June 2012. He brings more than 20 years of real estate experience to the company. Benford responsibilities include shaping the company’s sales, marketing, and budgeting strategies.

Wall Street Journal & REAL Trends Name Team Gale to List of Top Real Estate Teams

The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends, Inc. have named Team Gale with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage to The Wall Street Journal/REAL Trends Thousand, their list of the top 1,000 real estate professionals and teams in the United States.

Team Gale was ranked No. 222 in the list of Top 250 Teams by Transaction Sides with 193 closed transactions.
