Denise Kinney, Vice President, Director of Sales for Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage,

has earned the prestigious Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) Designation presented by the Council

of Real Estate Brokerage Managers, a non-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors™.

The CRB is recognized as the industry’s measure of success for real estate brokers and managers.

According to the Council, the median gross personal income of a CRB designee is 57% more than their Realtor™

colleagues without the designation. To earn the CRB designation, agents must complete a comprehensive program

combining experience with management education.

Kinney is a 7-year veteran of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage and was promoted to Vice President,

Director of Sales in July of this year. In this position, she manages the Brokers-in-Charge who oversee each of the

company’s 11 offices, and assists them in developing and executing new ideas to increase production, streamline

operations and help the company’s 375+ agents to better serve their buyers and sellers.

Jessica Edwards Returns For Fourth Consecutive Year As Featured Speaker At Annual Coldwell Banker Generation Blue Conference

          Jessica Edwards, a 32-year-old REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage,


was one of the featured speakers at the recent Generation Blue Experience, an annual conference of Coldwell


Banker® agents from across the country and around the world. This was the fourth consecutive year that Edwards


was invited to speak at Generation Blue, which took place October 6-8 in Hollywood, CA.


     The conference featured learning opportunities with world-class industry speakers on dozens of topics.


Edwards participated as a speaker on two panels: Assembling a Dynamic Team and Establishing an Irresistible


Online Persona. Joining Edwards on the Team panel was Danny Hertzberg of The Jills team of Miami, the #1


Coldwell Banker realty team in the world and #1 realty team overall in the nation, as ranked by Wall Street Journal.


On the Online panel was Christophe Choo, president of the Christophe Choo Real Estate Group in Beverly Hills. In


addition to leading one of the top producing teams in the nation, Choo is a popular TV personality on HGTV’s


Selling LA and a frequent speaker at events around the country.


     “Serving on these panels with such industry stars as Hertzberg and Choo is both an incredible honor and


an excellent learning opportunity,” said Edwards. “I am passionate about my job as a REALTOR® and I welcome

Today was the 2013 National Philanthropy Day Awards Breakfast at UNCW, where theThe Cape Fear Region Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionalsrecognized nominees in six philanthropic categories. On New Years Day 2003, Brian led a group of friends on the beach of Surf City to start the year with a plunge into the Atlantic Ocean. Over a decade later, the New Years Day Dolphin Dip at Surf City is now America’s biggest New Year’s Day Swim Event. From a group of 20 to last year’s crowd of over 5,000 participants, the event has brought the community together while raising funds for various organizations.

Brian has a big heart for giving and inspires others to do the same. There is no cost to participate in the event, but it raises about $10,000 every year. Brain selects a different nonprofit to honor each year, trying to spread it around because there are “so many wonderful charities”. In the past, funds have supported Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity, and Hope for the Warriors.

With a passion for giving and helping, Brian Moxey advocates for many local organizations, including United Way of the Cape Fear Area and for the YMCA as a PPD Beach 2 Battleship Triathlon director. This year, Brian and his family were honored by the Karen Beasley Turtle Hospital when they named a rescued cold-stunned turtle Moxey. Moxey was released this June with much fanfare. Now the fanfare should be in honor of all the many other philanthropic efforts by our energetic friend Brian.

Thanks to all the community leaders, organizations and individuals who continue to make a difference in our community! You are all very much appreciated, and congratulations to all the nominees!

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage was honored with multiple awards for its outstanding performance during the past year at the 2013 Cartus Broker Network International Conference held February 27-March 2 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. Cartus is a worldwide leader in employee relocation solutions.
